NU 525 - Technology and Nursing Informatics in Advanced Practice

This course provides an overview of the integration of technology and nursing informatics in various healthcare environments. Legal, ethical, and cultural issues directing use of technology are examined. The influence of technology on patient outcomes will be explored. 3.00 semester credit hours Contact Hours: 45.00 Prerequisites: NU 500 - Theoretical Foundations for Nursing  and NU 560 - Research Methods and Evidence-Based Practice .
