RT 102 - Introduction to Radiography

This course is an introduction to the basic principles of radiography and the role of the radiographer in the health care system. Principles and policies of health care organizations are presented along with legal and ethical standards and the professional responsibilities of health care providers. The basic operation of radiographic equipment, radiation safety, and image production are also introduced. 3.00 semester credit hours Contact Hours: 45.00 Prerequisites: SC 145/SC 145L Anatomy and Physiology I Lab.
