This course introduces the unique aspects of healthcare finance, including payment sources and reimbursement methodologies, emerging industry trends, resource management, cost, benefit analysis, case mix management, compliance and reimbursement audit processes, and charge-master management. 3.00 semester credit hours Contact Hours: 45.00 Prerequisites: AC 107 Accounting I  and HI 296 Professional Practice Internship .
