EM 205 - Paramedic Terminal Competencies


This course is designed to review the National Standard Curriculum for the EMT-Paramedic and to assist students in preparation for the paramedic licensure examination. Emphasis is placed on validation of knowledge and skills through didactic review, skills lab performance, computer simulation, and practice testing. Upon course completion, students should be sufficiently prepared to sit for the paramedic licensure examination. 2.00 semester credit hours Contact Hours: 45.00 Prerequisites: EM 197 Medical Patient Management I EM 201 Medical Patient Management II  and EM 203 Cardiovascular Patient Management .   Corequisite: None.
