NF 319 - Nursing IX


This course analyzes public health concepts, trends, theories, and issues for advanced community health nursing practice. Aggregates, stakeholders, high-risk populations, public health functions, domestic and international healthcare delivery systems, and conceptual and scientific frameworks for community/public health nursing practice are incorporated. Guided practice in the development and refinement of specific assessment knowledge, techniques, and skills are explored to assist in recognizing normal and deviated health patterns and at-risk behaviors in multicultural clients and populations across the life span. 6.00 semester credit hours Contact Hours: 150.00 Prerequisite: NF 215 Nursing V .
