RT 115 - Radiographic Procedures I

This is the initial course in radiographic patient positioning. This course includes the study of patient body habitus, positioning, radiographic anatomy, equipment manipulation, radiographic techniques and evaluation of radiographic image quality for body areas covered. This course includes radiographic imaging of the chest, abdomen, and upper extremity. Critical thinking and communication skills as related to procedure performance, patient care, and radiation protection are emphasized. 2.00 semester credit hours Contact Hours: 30.00 Prerequisites: SC 245/SC 245L Anatomy and Physiology II Lab.
