NM 422 - Clinical Nursing III


This course expands on previous nursing knowledge and skills to provide care to patients with complex health stressors with unpredictable outcomes. There is a focus on caring for patients in specialty settings such as critical care, cardiovascular care, respiratory care, operating room, recovery room, and/or emergency care. Complex clinical problems, such as cardiac and respiratory system problems, neurotrauma, cancer, pain management, and multi-system stressors, are reviewed in regards to the nursing process. 4.00 semester credit hours. Contact Hours: 75.00. Prerequisites: NM 322 Clinical Nursing II
