IS 354 - Introduction to Symbian Mobile Development


The goal of this course is to introduce the student to the design and development of mobile software utilizing the Symbian operating system. The setup and configuration of such an environment will be demonstrated and employed. The development tools will be mastered through building a Symbian application, managing application resources, designing an application framework, implementing a main menu, building forms to collect user input, creating dialogs, and adding application logic that stores state information. 4.00 semester credit hours Contact Hours: 60.00 Prerequisite: IS 228 C++ Programming .
