PN 112 - Pharmacology


This course introduces students to the science of pharmacology. Emphasis is placed on the basic pharmacologic concepts related to the delivery of medications, dosage calculations, forms and techniques of administration, and safe practice. Learning activities are designed to ensure competence in both oral and written communication regarding drugs and their administration. 1.50 semester credit hours Contact Hours: 45.00 Prerequisite: MA 109 College Algebra  with a grade of C or better. Corequisite: None.
