IS 420 - Advanced Specialization

This course is an advanced-level independent study course that allows a student to work on an agreed-upon project from conception through implementation. The student is expected to prepare a proposal and time line prior to beginning the course. The student will explore technology issues related to the project. A written report and oral presentation is expected to complete the course. The student is expected to meet regularly with the instructor to track technical and project-management issues. An ability to work independently is required. Semester Credit Hours 3.00 semester credit hours Contact Hours: 45.00 Prerequisite: PGPA of 3.00 and written approval of both the faculty advisor and academic dean. Corequisite: None.
