IT 331 - Routing and Switching Security


This course equips students with the knowledge and skills needed to design and support network security in a typical routing and switching topology. The course aims to develop an in-depth understanding of network security principles as well as tools and configurations such as protocol sniffers/analyzers, TCP/IP and common desktop utilities, IOS software, and VPN client software. Topics include access control lists, intrusion prevention systems, IPSec, and virtual private networks.
