IS 119 - Current and Emerging Trends in Technology


This course introduces students to current and emerging technologies that have significance in business and industry and the related areas of employment. Students will conduct research to identify strategies and techniques for finding critical information regarding the current and emerging technologies and their impacts on related jobs. Students will use this research to devise plans for preparing and adjusting to those changes, as if they were employed in such jobs, through updating their skills or transitioning to other related fields.
