NO 103 - Health and Illness Throughout the Life Span


This course will focus on health promotion for clients across the life span. Normal changes related to growth and development will be covered. Changes related to the normal aging process will be explored. The student will gather client data, identify nutritional needs, and assist with nursing care plans and reinforcement of teaching plans for the healthy family, pregnant woman, newborn, and developing child. Exposure to healthy behavior patterns will allow the student to recognize maladaptive and adaptive patterns of behavior.
