PT 116 - Pathophysiology for Physical Therapist Assistants


Pathophysiology includes the study of diseases and disorders commonly seen in physical therapy practice. This course is an overview of the etiology, manifestations, and treatment of significant diseases; emphasis will be on the musculoskeletal, nervous, and cardiopulmonary systems. The pharmacological interventions for common system dysfunctions treated in the physical therapy profession will be discussed and presented. Semester Credit Hours 3.00 Semester Credit Hours.
