NU 208 - Pathophysiology


This course examines the pathophysiological bases for disease process throughout the life span, with an emphasis on nursing clinical applications. The content builds upon previous understanding of anatomy, physiology, microbiology, basic chemistry, and the manifestations of disease. Alterations in pathophysiological functions of body systems are discussed. Physiological theory and treatment implications are explored.
