HC 320 - Public & Global Health

This course investigates key global health issues that effect population health outcomes. Students examine the health policy affairs confronting international health organizations, governments, and specific populations using frameworks such as Global Health Security Agenda, Millennium Developmental Goals, health economics, vital statistics, and international human rights principles and apply these frameworks to the definition, prevention, or mitigation of identified global health concerns.
