MS 265 - Medical Clinical Assisting II with Lab

This course is a continuation of MS 263 Medical Clinical Assisting I with Lab. It is an introduction to diagnostic procedures routinely performed in the physician’s office laboratory setting. Students will be introduced to electrocardiography, respiratory testing, hematology, microbiology, proper specimen collection techniques, quality control, and equipment inventory and maintenance. Semester Credit Hours: 4.00 Contact Hours: 30/60/0/90 Prerequisite: MS 263 Medical Clinical Assisting I with Lab .  Corequisite: None.
