HH 110 - Introduction to Health and Human Services


This course introduces you to the field of health and human services. You will explore how the field of human services has evolved throughout history and how this has shaped current programs, services, populations served, and policy. Topics include the role and function of health and human service professionals, a foundation of assessment skills to examine present conditions in our society, and societal barriers that contribute to the need for health and human services.
