Program Description

This program prepares students for entry-level positions in network administration, and is designed for individuals who already possess experience in the field of information technology. Skills taught include network infrastructure and security.  Coursework in this program is designed to provide a foundation for select industry certifications for routing and switching. Graduates of this program may continue on into an associate or bachelor’s degree in information technology.

Program Outcomes

Upon completion of this program, the student should be able to:

  1. Apply industry standards to the implementation and support of network systems and computer devices.
  2. Demonstrate the principles of information technology security.

Potential Occupational Titles

Potential occupational titles for this program include, but are not limited to, computer network support specialist.

Program Content

A minimum of 25.00 semester credit hours is required for graduation.

All courses, 24.00 semester credit hours, are required.
