BU 235 - Entrepreneurship


This course provides instruction in the theory, tools, and techniques for launching and managing entrepreneurial businesses. Topics include exploring entrepreneurial opportunities and the related ethical, legal, and regulatory environments, determining competitive advantage strategies, and developing business plans. Additional topics include analyzing sources of funding, developing marketing strategies, managing human resources, managing risk, insurance, and other operations processes, and evaluating financial performance. 3.00 semester credit hours Contact Hours: 45.00 Prerequisite: BU 106 Introduction to Business .
