IS 171 - Visual Basic I


This course provides instruction on how to create desktop applications using Visual Basic. Topics include designing applications, using variables, selection and repetition structures, sequential access files, menus and reports, dialog boxes and error trapping, random access files, database access and variable arrays, COM and ActiveX, and optimization, deployment, maintenance, and support. 3.00 semester credit hours Contact Hours: 60.00 Prerequisite: IS 122 Programming Logic .
