CT 190 - Chiropractic Physiologic Therapeutics This course establishes therapeutic procedures and theories that are used in chiropractic practice. Emphasis will be placed on the application and safe, appropriate use of treatment modalities. Students will learn indications and contraindications for pathologies and the use of physiologic therapeutics. Topics covered include procedures and equipment used in administering physiological therapeutics, including cryotherapy, thermotherapy, ultrasound, electrical muscle stimulation, cold laser, traction, and therapeutic exercises related to stretching and strengthening. 3.00 semester credit hours Contact Hours: 60.00 Prerequisite: CT 120 Introduction to Chiropractic Foundations and Philosophy .
