OT 201L - Theory of Pediatric Occupations Lab This course offers “hands-on” opportunities for practice areas in conditions commonly seen in children and adolescents, with emphasis on the occupational performance of typical and atypical individuals. Examples include mental retardation, learning disabilities, cerebral palsy, spina bifida, and other disabilities commonly found in children. Topics will include clinical reasoning for the OT, and multi-cultural concerns are embedded throughout this course. Semester Credit Hours: 1.00 Contact Hours: 0/30/0/30 Prerequisites: OT 100 Life Span Development and OT 110 Principles of Occupational Therapy . Corequisite: OT 201 Theory of Pediatric Occupations .
