MSW 634 - Clinical Practice with Families

This course covers theory and strategies of family therapy and interventions. Diversity in family constellations, family life stages, communication, relationships, divorce, mediation, adoption, and multigenerational families are topics covered. Students will learn strategies in family engagement, assessment, interventions and evaluation.  Semester Credit Hours: 3.00 Contact Hours: 45/0/0/45 Prerequisites: Advanced standing or completion of all 500 level MSW courses. Corequisites: None.
