NU 401 - National and Global Health and Policy Issues


This course is an intensive overview of national and global health issues as well as the origin and effect of disease. Students will examine the natural history of disease and identify the frequency, distribution, and causation of disease. Policy development, healthcare systems, and the role of national and global healthcare agencies are examined. A course project is required for completion of this course.
