DA 302 - Foundations of Data Analytics This course provides the practical key techniques and tools used in data analytics, including the concepts, principles and practical applications that are relevant to the industry and technology environment. Learning will be supported and explained using open-source software, including Apache Hadoop, MapReduce and R. Students will have the opportunity to understand how these methods and tools are applied to real-world business challenges, including the analyses of data generated from IoT devices.
