NU 609 - Advanced Health Assessment

This course is an examination of the process of holistic assessment (physical, psychosocial, and cultural) of individuals across the lifespan. Focus is critical thinking and decision making related to the role of the advanced practice nurse in a primary care setting. Semester Credit Hours: 4.00 Contact Hours: 15/0/135/150 Prerequisites: NU 500 Theoretical Foundations for Nursing  and NU 560 Research Methods and Evidence-Based Practice . Corequisite: NU 621 Advanced Pathophysiology .
