NU 621 - Advanced Pathophysiology

The course examines scientific concepts of pathophysiology essential to diagnostic reasoning and clinical management of common disease states. The dilemma of cost and need for laboratory and radiographic evidence to support diagnosis is examined. Semester Credit Hours: 3.00 Contact Hours: 45/0/0/45 Prerequisites: NU 500 - Theoretical Foundations for Nursing  and NU 560 - Research Methods and Evidence-Based Practice , or NU 700 - Knowledge for Nursing Practice .
