NU 640 - Introduction to Women’s Health Across the LifespanThis introductory course focuses on integrating theoretical knowledge, evidence-based guidelines, and contemporary practice in the assessment and management of health and disease states specific to women across the lifespan. Personal, family, cultural, community, and societal influences are analyzed for their impact on women’s physical and emotional health. Health risk identification, health promotion, maintenance, and treatment alternatives are examined. Semester Credit Hours: 4.00 Contact Hours: 60/0/0/60 Prerequisites: None.
