NP 101 - Foundations of Nursing


This course introduces beginning nursing students to essential concepts such as academic success strategies, medical terminology, human growth and development, and basic pharmacology principles. Students will develop skills in dosage calculations and safe medication administration. Emphasis is placed on understanding developmental considerations across the lifespan to support competent, patient-centered care.
