Program Description
This program prepares students for entry-level positions in the field of information technology. Skills taught include end-user support, client/ server operating systems, network infrastructure administration, security, scripting, database fundamentals, and technical communication. Coursework in this program is designed to provide a foundation for select industry certifications. Graduates of this program may continue on into a bachelor’s degree in information technology.
Program Outcomes
Upon completion of this program, the student should be able to:
1. Apply industry standards to the implementation and support of network systems and computer devices.
2. Demonstrate the principles of information technology security.
3. Use information systems for the collection, organization, and delivery of data.
4. Express relevant information to technical and nontechnical audiences.

Potential occupational titles for this program include, but are not limited to, computer network support specialist.
Program Content
A minimum of 60.00 semester credit hours is required for graduation.
