NU 515 - Advanced Pharmacology

This course examines pharmacotherapeutics and pharmacodynamics principles applicable to frequently used prescription and nonprescription medications. Implications of age, gender, and ethnicity are explored. Students will focus on critical thinking and decisionmaking skills related to nursing diagnoses, planned interventions, and evaluation. 3.00 semester credit hours Contact Hours: 45.00 Prerequisites: NU 500 - Theoretical Foundations for Nursing  and NU 560 - Research Methods and Evidence-Based Practice .
