MSW 610 - Clinical Social Work Interventions

This course focuses on specific clinical interventions that are evidence based and effective. Effective interventions including trauma informed care/treatment, motivational interviewing, task oriented, cognitive behavioral, EMDR overview, rational emotive therapy, family therapy, interventions will be explored. Students will demonstrate application through case studies and analysis. Semester Credit Hours: 3.00 Contact Hours: 45/0/0/45 Prerequisites: Advanced standing or completion of all 500 level MSW courses. Corequisites: None.
