NP 226 - LPN Specialty Nursing

This course prepares practical nursing students to provide entry-level care for obstetric, neonatal, pediatric, and mental health patients. Emphasis is placed on normal growth and development, common health conditions, and safe, effective nursing interventions. Students will explore coordination of care, documentation, medication administration, and legal and ethical considerations, as well as historical and emerging trends in these specialty areas.
