NM 236 - Pharmacology This course introduces the student to the role of pharmacotherapeutic agents in the treatment of illness as well as the promotion, maintenance, and restoration of wellness in clients throughout the life span. Basic pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic principles are introduced. These concepts provide the basis for the study of drug actions, indications, side effects, nursing implications, and client education. All major drug groups are addressed.
